The Eliza Fund
Building biotech companies from breakthrough science.
We don’t just invest in biotechnology companies—we help create them.
The Eliza Fund is a biotechnology venture creation and early-stage investment firm focused on promising life-science technologies and companies.
We partner with inventors, entrepreneurs, early-stage companies, universities, technology transfer offices, co-investors, and strategic partners to transform compelling science and technology assets into biotechnology companies.
Our Approach
We help build biotechnology companies from academic discoveries and early-stage technologies through scientific and commercial diligence, licensing and asset acquisition, company formation, executive leadership, development strategy, and early-stage financing. We selectively invest our own capital and work with co-investors to support promising opportunities.
Areas of Interest
We seek opportunities in therapeutics, drug delivery, diagnostics, AI-enabled life sciences, platform technologies, and translational medicine with strong scientific foundations, defensible intellectual property, and meaningful potential to improve human health.
Let's Build Together
We welcome conversations with researchers and inventors interested in exploring the translational and commercial potential of their work, as well as entrepreneurs, early-stage companies, universities, investors, and strategic partners seeking to create, finance, or advance biotechnology companies.
